Oops! Under bid and won an auction for yet another S&W Chief's Special, 38 SPL but 3" barrel.
Mid 80's. Paid less than the 2" 1971 Chief's Special.
Now we have "His and Her's .38 Spl Range guns"

It was supposed to be "confused face"... But Austin Powers is always confused, so it just comes across as inscrutable face.

How about this one...

Ordered a case of 40 from ammoman today for my neighbor.... $15 a box for the case not too bad nowadays for magtech. My neighbor was worried about ammo coming to his house since he STILL hasn't told the wife that he bought a gun 3 years ago.... oh those little secrets....

I took my new Sig P250-.22 with 9mm/.40S&W conversions kits out for a test. I was shooting from a rest at about 25 yds, and the .22 put them mostly in the black and functioned perfectly (top target).
The other two, not so good. The top target shows the impact of the 9mm, and the bottom target shows the impact of the .40S&W. Although function was perfect, both uppers hit about 8 ins. above POA. A SIG pistol is supposed to shoot at POA at 25 yds with center hold, which is what I did.
I used Winchester white box 115 gr. 9mm and Federal 180 gr. HST .40 S&W. My front sight numbers are both 8.
To get them both shooting correctly, it looks like I'm going to have to calculate the proper height, buy new front sights, and have them installed.
Also, P250 rear sights are unique and aren't dovetailed in, so elevation/windage adjustable rear sights aren't available.

I'll regret asking but since you bolded the "HAND" part of your post, where did it NOT feel good? Any specific body parts? :shocked4:

Edit: I see PMB was wondering too. LOL!

Passed a rifle and case of ammo on to one of my sons for his birthday.
The heavy rain kept me from my planned outside work, so near broke my arm reloading pistol ammo.

I have nearly 30% MORE ammunition in 8 caliber types and 3 variations than last year this time.
I'm blaming it on the rain too.

Got bored last night, started on this and added the finishing touches this morning. I always liked the old Soviet drop cases but felt like I could do better. I scrapped the gaiters and instead turned my focus to this. I Cannibalized an old pair of Austrian BDU trousers for the base material. The webbing and buckles came from an Austrian paratroop`s rucksack and the stitching is (mostly) mint-flavored waxed dental floss.

I carried with my "tuckable" holster actually tucked in for the first time. Was pleasantly surprised to find it wasn't any more awful than wearing a tucked in shirt already is.

I swung by Brad's today and picked up a surplus Sig P228 I had ordered, as well as one of his Ruger LCP 2s. Also did some gun cleaning.

The 228 is quite a bit rougher than I was expecting.

I'm honestly not sure if the slide is a very dirty stainless or a very worn blued.
