Oiled her up and stuck her in a Remora holster. Good 2 Go. I foresee it being carried for many years to come. So what's the build quality like? very good build quality. Machining is a tad rough in spots, but the fit of all the parts is phenomenal. I think it's a winner. It has a satin bead blast, working gun finish. It looks and feels like it is made to be carried daily.

The friend was much improved by the time we left and my wife got to shoot my newest pistol for the first time. Did they not have a pulse? Or couldn't fog a mirror? I'm confused??? Are the 49ers in town?

That doesn't look like SS to me, looks more like Bead Blast or "Satin" as some manufacturers call it.

My 686+ got the same finish from S&W when they slicked it up. The trigger on the Colt is pretty damn good, but it's hard to beat a trigger souped up from the S&W Performance center like this 686+ sports. Here it is next to a 686+. Hard to tell in the picture, but the 686+ is much larger and heavier.

Turns out the other guy got tired of it and put it up for sale. Opened a conversation with him and he`s game to hold onto it until after I fulfill another commitment.
