Just a quick poll to get an idea of how many use a red dot or green dot on their pistols.

Last time I checked. I don’t think they cost the same.
Green dot has the advantage of more daylight visibility compared to red. Typically is brighter and cost more. Red is more typical as manufacturers developed red earlier. |

Red usually needs less power making for better battery life, too. I've been hearing about BLUE dots entering play too.

I went green on both of mine as red gets blurry for me at higher brightness.
