Picked up a Turkish M4 clone a while back. Found out a few things.

* It doesn't like light loads under 1250 FPS
* Use the proper ammo, such as high base duck & pheasant loads or Winchester 00 Buck, and it runs 100%

The particular gun I got was through Panzer Arms and had it delivered to Black Hammer Arms in Tacoma. Dana is good to go.

Picked up some aftermarket parts.

* Enlarged bolt handle,
* Dave's Gunworks 7 shot tube
* Enlarged bolt release
* Extended lifter so you don't get bitten by the stock shell lifter, making reloads quicker and enjoyable.

My youngest son even took a deer with it.

I'm interested to hear everyone's thoughts on the Turknellis. I've heard such horrible things about them from James Reeves on the TFBTV YouTube channel that I've always been afraid to buy one.

Here is my experience with the Panzer M4:

I bought one of the early import Panzer M4's back in January 2021. I was having problems with it right out of the box and sent it back for warranty work. I got it back without it being repaired and it was still having problems cycling shells, so I replaced the following parts:

70037 Benelli M4 Extractor
70036 Benelli M4 Extractor Pin
70038 Benelli Extractor Spring
70057 Benelli Cartridge Latch Spring

I purchased those parts from Midwest Gun Works in November 2021 for my Panzer M4. At that time, the total cost of those parts, including tax and shipping, was $45.86. My Panzer now runs 100% with ALL shells that I've tried including 1145 fps cheap birdshot and hot buckshot. I'm very happy with it, but I only have a few hundred shells through it. Also, my front sight post loosened itself up, so I think a little blue Loctite would keep that from happening again.

The biggest issue folks have had with them is not cleaning off the packing grease they are shipped with. Get that squared away, and things run pretty smooth. The early guns had issues for certain, but Panzer, based in Redmond, WA, has improved their customer service and access to spare parts.

I have only had about 100 rounds through mine so far, a mix of heavy 1.375 ounce reloads and some quality buckshot.

One brand it does not like is Fiocchi Defense Dynamics 00 buck. Listed at 1250 FPS, but multiple shooters have had issues with it. Fiocchi is good ammo, but it has a softer recoil by design, even says so on the box, but none of the ad material states that it won't work in every semi-auto, even on their websitehttps://fiocchiusa.com/shotshell ... 2ex9p.html . Sadly, I bought a case and have 9 boxes left that won't function in the gun. At least they function well in my pumps.
