Who makes them these days? I think most companies are making dedicated 9mm upper/lowers, but i want something i can throw in a spare 5.56 lower. Bonus points for someone that uses pps-43 mags.

colt style mag adapters, stern defense mag adapters, sylvan arms mag conversion, endo mags ( 5.56 sized 9mm mags, no mag adapter needed afaik)


You're way out in the weeds with a ppsh43 mag adapter these days, back when 7.62 was pennies per round it was a thing, but NO ONE is making 762 tok mag fed stuff anymore due to the ammo price

Looks like Macon Armory was working on a mag block adapter in '21, might touch base with them and see if they have any old stock

9mm will also semi-reliably feed from them too in most cases

just use Mean mags with any lower.

I believe PSA resurrected the H&R brand and are reproducing the Colt 9MM upper which would fit a standard lower.

Those kits are pricy and they take the old colt style mags. Honestly you are better off getting one of the new pcc lower kits and dedicated upper that takes glock mags. I know living in the Peoples democratic republic of Insleeistan makes that difficult, but what our dear leader doesn't know can't hurt him.
