Nope, not taking my braces off.
Moreover, I was plinking with my braced AR pistols at the range here all this time.
I am glad that I did not registered them as SBRs!

BASF?

I would like any of those firearm owners who registered their firearms to get the 'Free Tax Stamp" even get them back already? Please sound off. Also How much of an advantage are you at now that this Pistol Brace Rule is going to get the beat down?

Gotta love how they phrase things that gets around words that get flagged.

I always laugh when there is something like this labelled something funny.

I think I bought an AR grip that was labelled as 'sporting goods tennis racket handle 15' or something like that...

I’ll own it. I sold out. I planned on stamping these anyhow and 1200 isn’t anything to sneeze at, all while buying a few silencers at the same time. I filled mine 4/20 all at same time on a trust with a notarized schedule “ B”. As of yet nothing has came back, will be curious to see how it all pans out.

"Fifth Circuit Delivers More Wins for Gun Owners, But Will They Stick at SCOTUS"

". My guess is Vanderstok will be close behind, but the legal challenges to the ATF’s rules on stabilizing braces will take a little longer to reach the High Court… at least on the merits.

With U.S. District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk granting a preliminary injunction to the plaintiffs in Britto v. ATF this week that applies nationwide, Garland and the DOJ will have to ask a skeptical Fifth Circuit to overrule his decision. If the Fifth Circuit declines to do so (which seems likely to me), then Garland can take his emergency appeal to the Supreme Court and hope that the justices will allow the stabilizing brace rule to be enforced while the case moves forward to trial, as they’ve done with the ATF’s rule on unfinished frames and receivers."

OK, I am not saying you sold out, this is just a conversation and a learning point. Everyone has a different situation and agenda. Thank you for your response.

I understand and didn’t mean it that way towards you. I was more talking to buddy who I know will read this. I made up my mind moons ago. Just think how many guys thought they won’t get mine in 86.

Well, every NFA group and explanation I've seen is that if its bot in NFA configuration, it's not an SBR. Even if it's on the register as such. You can ask them to remove it, but it's not required. I've been around the lock a bit in that crowd, sunil stick with what I've seen over and over.

I had a handful of lowers I had considered SBRing anyhow, wo I took advantage of their plan. They didnt get anything on their books that they weren't going to get anyhow. I just hadn't done it yet. Luckily I had a number of braces left over from a couple of pistols so that I could defend my claim if they asked for pics. Now one is going to be a proper 14" M4 clone, and the others will just be solid iSBRs.I still have braces if I want to reconfigure them, but in all reality, I can always just bring something else with me if I'm crossing state lines or don't plan to pack a pistol for carry. Having a mag near the rifle in the trunk isnt that much of a hassle to make ready really.
