When the state patrol puts your plate info I think it was, in the MCT, it also tells them if you have a CPL or not and even shows the pistol transfers. Gestapo level stuff! |

I either A know the officer, or I am feeling confident enough in his demeanor that me showing him the "I am not a felon" card will only further defuse the situation. If I feel it will escalate, I usually just keep my mouth shut. @VictoriasSecret: The reason that you have to redo the paperwork is that your 4473 has expired. They are only good for 30 days. The local PD gets your NICS Approval number - Lots of places have a no transfer until PD response.
