I have the weirdest boner right now. https://www.henryusa.com/new-for-2017/The single shot rifles are pretty badass, but that .41 mag wide loop carbine...

I saw the lever 410 and got excited. When are they going to make a 454, 45LC, 410 lever combo. How hard can it be? They are all rimmed cases with the same chamber size.

It's the 65K psi pressure spec for the .454. That's more than .300 Win Mag and a long list of powerful rifle chamberings. I've wanted a Rossi 92 in .454 for a long time, but there have been lots of problems with them vs. the less powerful loadings. Big Horn makes a .460 S&W carbine (same 65k spec) that can shoot .454 as well. So they've figured it out. It looks like a beefed up Winchester 1886. You could buy 2 or 3 Henrys for the cost of a Big Horn though.

I saw the initial steel model on special for $680 or so. I really don't care either way for the large loop but I do like 18" barrel max. A .460 S&W would also be great.

Different round lengths make a huge difference in most lever guns. I have a Browning 92 in .357 that will jam up bad if you put in a short .357 or a .38 special. Sometimes need to pull off the lever to get it out. beckdw wrote: I saw the lever 410 and got excited. When are they going to make a 454, 45LC, 410 lever combo. How hard can it be? I really, really want to like their rifles. But no loading gate is just a huuuuge missing feature unless it's just a plinking gun. No, I don't plan on getting in a gunfight with any of my lever guns. Though, they do get used for that from time to time. Bad (now dead) guy used one in Texas a few years back: http://www.veteranstoday.com/2012/08/14 ... -shooting/I absolutely love the guy with the .357. Coincidentally, I just got a 5" .357 myself :)
