Well I just got hit by the Wuhan Flu reduction and our company has furloughed pretty much everyone except the supervisors and myself. We however are down to 8-12 hrs a week.
So I am in search of work in the meantime. I’m an A&P mechanic by trade, hold a criminal justice degree, and am a very experienced firearms instructor so I am pretty much open to anything at this point.
If you know of anything anywhere close (within 50 miles) to the Tacoma area PM me... thanks a bunch.

I would love to say teaching shooting is lucrative - but you know that’s not true.
Can’t teach when ranges are closed or so limited it’s impossible to get in (right now as an instructor).
As for other leads... sorry none but hoping someone can give you something.
All my best! Wish I could be more helpful. My wife is about to be reduced soon. What that means?

Are you looking for side jobs until you get back to your regular job? A whole new career? Something PT to get by?

I’m sure there will be plenty of Flak for this, but I would check with Allied Universal for their Aviation security. All it is is driving and walking around the Boeing Factories. The pay is not the greatest. But it’s a gig. Plus you get a take home Glock 23 once you’re license comes in.

Amazon hiring 75,000 people. Think most positions are for delivery drivers. Amazon Fresh has been on an indefinite backorder for weeks. No way to order, even a 3 day delivery window isn't available. (Used to get it in 2 hours) I don't even bother trying anymore. Regular Amazon Prime takes several days now.
My GF works at the Everett warehouse, says they are really busy, like at Christmas time. Hand out 1 mask per day, take everyone's temperature before they let them in the building. Sounds like a shit job to me, but she really likes working there. Not sure how many people work there, but one morning I swear there was a line of 70+ Amazon Prime delivery vans coming down the hil. Quite a sight.

I gave a friend this link https://blog.aboutamazon.com/company-ne ... 5-000-jobs she followed the links and got like a permanent (not temporary because of the china flu) supervisor position with 60 hours a week because she said yes to all offers of extra time because she have been unemployed for a bit.

Ya, they have really flexible schedules. Get anywhere between 4-12 hours a day depending on what you want. My girl has saved up vacation/sick time and can take off a day with pay, or work late whenever she wants to. She's a warehouse lead, but they call it something else. Stupid names. Think drivers are working all day long, don't have the same flexibility on their schedules. Before the flu, we had Amazon Prime deliveries at our complex 3-4 times a day.

Might I suggest that you go in and apply with Aerotek its always a good thing to have more than one headhunter working for you and it cost you nothing except your time. BTW there is hiring going on.

Got to be so bad, they were months behind schedule with more ships waiting to come in. If you called in sick, they used to send a Navy Corpsman over to your house and see if you were really sick. If he said no, than you had to go in, or risk the consequences.
