I am looking for a gunsmith in the Everett/Lake Stevens area that can re-chamber a barrel.

Whatever you do, do NOT utilize the services of Williamson Guns in Stanwood. I would also stay away from Palazzo Precision.

If you are careful, and don't mind buying a headspace gauge, you can rent a reamer if you are opening up an existing chamber. If you are chambering from a rifled hole, then you need someone with a lathe, roughing and finishing reamers, plus headspace gauge.

I would look into Benchrest Barrels if it were me. Surely, someone will be along to recommend a trustworthy gunsmith up north.

Benchrest did one for me a few years back. Awesome service.
