Need reliable tax/accountant

Wed Jun 28, 2017 11:36 am

I'm once again in need of a reliable tax shop.

My former guy left me in a lurch, had a stroke, never responded, etc.

New show in Graham did a good job, however, I need to file amendments (which we discovered the prior guy had screwed up) and they've had them for 2 months and are unable to file due to some personal issues that seem to be impacting their business operations.

So, I need a solid reliable tax preparer who isn't going to have a litany of personal issues.

Ya, seems CPA's do that.
I had a CPA for 12+ years that all of a sudden stopped returning my calls, didn't complete my 1120S by the due date, etc.
Got back to me a month or so later with my tax returns.
Turns out he lost his CPA license, which is pretty hard to do.

Fired him, found a new firm.
Then the guy who was doing my taxes quit and started his own firm.
OK, tried him at his new company. He fucked me on a couple grand in deductions..........
So back to the previous firm, filed an amended return, got the money back.

But their rates keep going up too. Looking around for someone else.

Have a competent firm I can recommend in Sno Co but they aren't cheap.

if you don't mind a bit south, http://www.armourvickerman.com/ Sam does the taxes for a trust account I manage, and we were really impressed with his knowledge when we switched to him. The savings he found has easily paid for many years of his service. I'll be using him for my personal taxes come next April.

Hey Lead,
If it doesn't have to be someone near by I have a couple I could refer you to up here.
Finding someone competent is a challenge. Used to do my own. Passed it off to a recommended professional. (Two different ones).
Ended up basically doing my taxes and getting charged for then to file them as I had to keep correcting errors they had made.

Guntrader, shoot me a PM with yours. I have someone but will likely need a new one as mine old one retired last year.

My last one moved out of state a few weeks ago.
First guy lost his CPA license, second guy left to start his own firm, then they passed me off to the CEO, he retired, then the gal they pawned me off on moved.
I'm kinda looking for a new one myself.

Mine is located in Puyallup.

She has done me good over the years. Found her, after my original CPA went wacko after 20+ years

If interested in calling, PM me for name and number.
