Being an owner of an Alaskan Malamute, I hold a special place for them in my heart. So joining an Alaskan Malamute rescue group was a natural calling for me.
A fellow WaGunner who shall remain nameless, had to put down his dog...so he donated his left over "veterinary" prescription drugs and over the counter meds to me. I turned over the meds along with a $50 check to buy "Costco Kirkland Dog Food" to help feed an emergency rescue that took place in Jefferson City, Montana.
So a special thank you goes out to you. I want you to know that your donated meds went to good use.
I can't watch shit like that. I had to stop at 2:32. Please tell me they locked that guy into a kennel and threw away the key. I would to have 5 mins alone with that guy.
Good on you Jeff for donating. Well done!

I'm sad to report that "Thumper" died today. He was just one of the many rescued Alaskan Malamutes from Mike Chilinski's puppy mill compound which was raided/seized in Montana. In the beginning, "Thumper" had a real shitty life...but the last 4 years...before he died, he was finally able to experience true love with his human companions. He will be forever missed.
RIP "Thumper" and say hello to "Tanny" for me.

I have fostered cats and rescued a few myself, and trained a Service Dog for a girlfriend.
I donated the medical supplies from my previous cat (who had renal failure problems) after she died; It's a good cause! Local rescue places always can use Ringer's Lactate or most any OTHER usable vet items!
Current older cat was at a Hoarder's house and badly treated; Ticks me off but I'd just as soon not assault the hoarder, they're handled. So I just take good care of her. She cannot talk - but I know too much of what abuse was done to her; Wasn't just ignored, she was treated BADLY. So now she asks me for treats by patting me on the face, she does have to remember to pat gently. And she does. She has a huge sense of humor (which helps a lot.) Tells me "knock it off, buster!" if I do anything TOO outrageous by touching me with teeth, no nipping tho. She's a deliriously happy cat. Younger one was a rescue but just had a medical issue to take care of, not from a bad home, at least.
Dogs and cats are SO forgiving, unlike some humans they don't mistake ALL of us for the occasional bad apple...
I am trying to move so I can have a nice hound, just small dogs allowed at this apartment complex and they're not my thing unless exceptionally calm. Some aren't, some are. Yeah I'm a cranky old guy :P LOL
Good to see others understand being human and helping our & others' 4-legged furkids!

Won't watch but it sounds like 5 minutes is too humane...
Just give me like 4-6 months alone with that guy...
