I am looking for a gunsmith who specializes in revolvers, specifically timing issues. Any reccomendations?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Glen who runs the pistol clubhouse at Renton F&G does Smith & Wesson double actions - maybe others. If not at RFG, he's usually at Pinto's Gun Shop in Renton.
Curious about what revolver you have and what timing issues IT has. :>)

Thanks Sagela. It's a 1974 Python, I picked it up earlier this year, but didn't get a chance to shoot it until recently. Problem "seems" to be the hammer is being caught on the trigger pull and does not hit with the full force needed. At least that's my theory.

I don't know about "specialized", but Fred at C.A.R. fixed my S&W 686 when another gunsmith could not.
You actually shoot your Python? They're starting to get into the "under glass, don't touch the investment" category...

You actually shoot your Python? They're starting to get into the "under glass, don't touch the investment" category... Was going to suggest Fred as well. I've never had them work on a revolver, but he once let me fondle one of his that he did a trigger job on and it was very nice.
