Probably has to do with the fact everyone has heard that being an Uber driver is "great money" or "shit money". Haven't seen many unbiased reviews. All the YouTube videos I've seen are people that are bitching about not making enough or people saying you need to work as if you're a real business owner to make good money.

Being a part time driver with a different career I'm able to give the dirty honest facts and not give a fuck at the end of the day.

The thing that has been hardest for me with Uber? Taking a piss.

It's freakishly hard to find a gas station around Seattle with a public restroom. I'm even willing to buy water, spend money, etc. in order to piss but nope, employee only. Forces me to hold it until I find a grocery store. And then I have to go offline to make sure I don't get pinged while I'm draining the main vein.


EDIT: Also, the fact this thread has over 2k page views shows you're not the only one that is interested.

Maybe we're getting google hits. Help change the image of the shooting community and all that.

Kinda wish I had a Galco ankle glove.

IWB and OWB on my hip isn't comfortable for long periods of time in my bolstered "sport" seats.

I could use my Galco Miami Classic but I'd have to always be in a jacket.

Took a new job. Make a lot more money. Significantly more than I would make doing uber for a year straight. Dedicating my time to career.

I'll be taking over for where RusoArmo left off as soon as I get off this overtime crap.

Back story: I signed up about a week after he did. Car went through inspection, blah, blah, blah...
Just as I was finishing the drivers test thingie, I've been on mandatory O.T. since then. They said last week was the last.
"Oh, btw... you have mandatory O.T. this weekend again." Fucking assholes.
And they don't have a clue why people are quitting in droves.

So my access was revoked because I never completed the defensive driver test and didn't upload new registration for my newly bought car.

Finished the test today, uploaded new registration and emailed requesting access back.

Been on a buying binge so I'm going to do some more ubering to pay it off and justify buying more shit before the election.
