I do not have the tools, and had been planning on taking my parts to RA and have them do it, but I'm sure I can find a better use for the money I'd end up spending. Does anyone in the I-5 corridor from say Tukwila area down to Tenino have tools and would be willing to help me (or more accurately show me) how to assemble an upper.
I've got the stripped upper, upper parts kit, barrel, gas block, gas tube, rail with barrel nut and install tool, and muzzle device. I also have the BCG and charging handle, but I think I can install those without help) I think the only thing I may not have is a crush washer.

I'm pretty sure I've got an upper vice block and a vice but the vice isn't mounted down yet. I've put together a couple of uppers, it's not terribly hard, but I'm in Renton.

I'm in North Tacoma.
I'm starting a project in Gig Harbor tomorrow so I'll be close to my shop.
I have a wheeler lapping tool if you want to square up your upper.
Probably have the crush washer too.

Probably have the crush washer too. RocketScott helped me put two together last week. I ended up having to get a special tool to finish one but all and all couldn't have done it without his help.

My only complaint is that it took 30 minutes before he got around to it, but right after I came in about half a dozen customers walked in the door. A 25 minute job took an hour, but still better than driving back out there.
