I bought the Canon from CostCo and had three friends help me get it upstairs. We used a refrigerator dolly I rented from U-Haul. Two above and two below. Couldn't have fit any more helpers and couldn't have managed with any less.

Thanks guys. Sounds like it should be a good time had by all. Who wants to be below the safe if one of the guys on top slips?? Don't everyone raise their hand at once! LOL

Tip #2. Grab a couple of those round "Furniture Mover's" that are round plastic discs that slide easily over carpet. Can use them to move the safe around a corner if you cant' tip the dolly and also to move it into it's final resting place. Keeps the carpet from bunching up and leaving a huge "wrinkle" behind it when you shove it against the wall.

BTW, the more bodies you have below the safe as you move it up the stairs the less likelihood of damaging the apartment building or safe if it slips. They make good "bumpers" :ROFLMAO:

You have to sign a waiver though that you won't hold me liable if you get flattened by the safe LOL

Damn! I'd probably shriek like a little girl and crap myself if I saw a safe coming down the stairs at me!!

Great advice! Sounds like I should get a couple of "stockier" guys to be below the safe. More protection for the walls and what not LMAO

If I get flattened like a pancake, it's my own damn fault! I got 2 eyes, a brain, and a 3 cents worth of common sense!(3 cents is alot in today's mental world)

I'll sign a waver just to make everyone happy.
