GF has perfectly decent counters but wants them all redone in granite.
Wants to keep her sink. L is a long counter with a large sink, and extends for several feet with a stove in the middle, 3 pieces.
She's in Kenmore.
Looking to have the work done soon.

Told her to get an itemized invoice breaking down the parts and labor.
4-5 days with two guys seems excessive, waiting for the details.
Lady likes Costco.

I've gotten many quotes from Costco over the years. Quartz counters, flooring, roofing and garage doors. They have ALL BEEN 300%+ over ANY other contractors.

But she doesn't like it when I bitch about her spending money.
I see it as just looking out for her.

Tell her you don’t care about the money, but you hate to see her taken advantage of.

Additionally, most guys that are shysters like that, don’t usually do good work, so, it also may save her headaches down the road.

I went with Exclusive Design in Puyallup. They removed my old countertop and backsplash, put in a new stainless sink and quartz countertop and backsplash for $5350. I put the deposit on a credit card (they added tax) but the balance was paid in cash
They did a beautiful job! Did I say that I got bids as high at 18,000????
The same company did 3 bathrooms in a friends house including granite on the ceiling in their master bath.
