Is the OP going to clarify what range rules they thought he was breaking? My experience is that they don't talk to people unless rules have been broken, and the only rules that I know of at RFGC are safety rules. I'm happy to hear that safety rules are enforced.

I've never had any issues with Glen or Randy. They've always been nice and courteous with me...but then, I've never walked over the line on a cold range either.

I guess that setting my stuff down at my bench before walking out to set up my target was the rule broken. I can own up to my shit. Not only did I apologize numerous times all while the old guy was raising his voice at me.
When the lady told me to take off my shooting glasses while talking to her was plain crossing the line. They could have handled this and got their point across wayyyyy different than they did.
This was not my first time shooting there and I've never had an issue on either range (pistol or rifle)

Was the range range cold when you did that?

This was not my first time shooting there and I've never had an issue on either range (pistol or rifle) I've had similar issues there, even met with the club president to discuss Glens behavior. I have not been back since, nor do I recommend it to people looking for a place to shoot.

Glenn is an oddball, but a good man. He watches those lines like a hawk, and doesn't miss much. I've had hrs long conversations with him about personal shit...and I've been yelled at for making mistakes too. He doesn't pull any punches when it comes to safety, and he doesn't care who you are if you fuck up. You fucked up. I guarantee that the next time you walk in there, he'll treat you as if it never happened.

This is the SO behavior we want, correct? Only judge by what the shooter is doing/*not* doing right now, therefore, watch carefully.
