Talk about perfection. They got everything right that glock got wrong.
It fits the had perfect. The trigger could always be better but that can be said about glock too. especially when most swap it out. Front serrations that actually work, steel sights, perfect grip texture. no shitty magwell where you cant grip the mag.
only comes with 2 mags but they include spacers for fullsize mags. and its 100 cheaper than a glock.
I think you may fall in love with them.

So do you have them at Brad's??
Get me a 40.
Wait--does it use the old mags? 'Cause if not, I may be out. I have a million or so of the old ones and it would just be way confusing with 2 different sets.

if you want a 40 pm the brads account. and it looks like they had them on allocation earlier but will have to see what tomorrows brings.
should be the same mags. at least the 9's were, they wouldn't change the layout on their mags as far as I can tell

I bought one on Friday and took it shooting Saturday. Yes the original M&P mags fit perfect and the gun shoots way better than a Glock, stays in the hand much better with the stippling and the trigger a huge improvement over the previous M&P line. This new M&P 2.0 is less expensive and better built than the Glock

I really want one of them. Why did it take so long for another manufacturer to figure out that the Glock 19 is the "Goldilocks" size? Might have to sell off something to get one in hand faster.

They've had a compact out since the beginning. The same size. But it wasn't very common for some reason.

I'm actually really back on the fence regarding this one, definitely holding off until spider concealment starts making holsters for them.
My main conundrum... what's the point of a double stack gun if you don't put a light on it? And if you do put a light on it, why not go full size since the muzzel length is basically dictated by the light length? Perhaps get an Inforce APLc, but that's going to be very hard to find a holster for..

Well my shield holds 10 rounds, this thing would hold 16. Apart from more rounds, what I'd want from a bigger carry is absolutely the ability to defend myself at night time, which of course is when most incidents occur and is also the time that a bigger gun is easier to conceal.
But if I'm putting a light on the gun, the shorter barrel length doesn't really help since most lights are longer than the barrel. Ultimately... might stick to the M&P full size... unless I have a need to fill the niche of more capable day carry but smaller than a full size with a light....
