So, i had an issue with my GMG pellet smoker lid, there was something off about it. after contacting customer service and all that, they decided to send me a new lid for my smoker. with the new house and everything, i asked them to hold off on it and wait until i moved in. after thinking about the new lid, i decided to pony up the cash and pay the difference in price for the stainless lid. well, they just sent me the more expensive stainless lid without asking me for a dime! the fella i was emailing back and forth, Eric, was awesome in every way and makes me super happy i decided to go with gmg for my pellet smoker!

i saw that post about camp chef and it looks like an awesome smoker, but my experience with gmg has me hooked with them. they've earned my business for future purchases.

GMG = Green Mountain Grills btw! :D

Yep, I posted the Camp Chef one, but I have TWO GMG's, Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett. I love them. Although I just decided to write to them about the LCD display on my DB that has a couple dead led's and they just said I could buy a new one online. I wasn't expecting a replacement, but just thought I'd try.

I also have a Big Gas Grill from Camp Chef and like that a lot too. I know first-hand that they have great service as well.

I have a GMG Jim Bowie and I am having issues with the wifi on it. I called CS and have not had any reply from them at all. The grill itself is great and no issues but I paid for the wifi feature and it worked for about 2 weeks and now I cannot connect to it via the app. Any chance you have a direct line to Eric? I would like to get this resolved as soon as possible.

Also, I found that resetting the wifi helps on occasion that it mucks up.
