+1 Rock Island warranty

Bought a used/new shotgun from a forum member a year ago, and just getting out to chamber and try it out. Something's defective with the elevator and leave spring which retains shells in the magazine. Won't release and feed shells. No bueno.

RIA warrants it. Sent them a note, and in 2 days they had a prepaid Fedex label to me. Should be fixed in a month or two. So far, fantastic service!

Update on this. Rock Island has among the best customer service I've experienced.

I filled out an online warranty claim and within a prompt period (~1 day) I received a pre-paid return ticket. Shotgun was fixed and returned at their expense 100%. Door to door it was ~34 days. Came back with a note "customers concerns verified, repaired, test fired, and cleaned."

If only every company worked like this.
