:cussing:

I will never attempt to deal with RF Firearms again.
Weeks ago, I saw an add on Armslist for a pistol I wanted. Auburn is ~30 minute drive, and it has limited hours and hours by appointment. So instead I emailed RF Firearms. No response.

A few days later, ad was still posted, so I emailed again, and called. No answer, no response.
Ad still up a few days later, I called and left VM, and emailed again. No answer, no reply.
Few days later, called, repeatedly, for hours. No answer.
WTF... ??!! :angryfire:

Ad is now down, I assume the gun is gone.
Strike them off your list of companies to attempt to deal with.

Looks like they're on Facebook, maybe post there, if you're on FB.

For some, that matters.

Their website says they are only open 11:00AM-2:30PM M-F. Seems to me like this guy isn't in the business of making money.

I've had similar experiences with other people that advertise on Armslist. I guess that I have mistakenly thought that when they advertise there, that they actually are trying to sell their whatever. I see an ad, respond via email and sometimes will get a response a couple of weeks later. But most of the time I'll get no response.

I use Armslist quite a bit, I don't bother replying to people who offer considerably less then my asking price or offer weird trades that aren't similar to anything I've listed as "wanted in trade". If it's a nicely worded email I'll send a reply " Sorry I'd have to pass on your offer, just not what I'm looking for currently" or something similar.

Not saying that's the issue with you Drec, but not everyone on Armslist is flaky. And like Craigslist - it's pretty random, with a wide cross section of America looking to trade their random bullshit for your item. I like Armslist, but you'll need a pretty good BS filter to use it.

This is the owner of RF Firearms.
I do not delete any emails. I also reply to ALL emails, unless you try to lowball me, then I will not waste my time. I looked through all emails from entire month of Feb. I had only 2 emails from the same person. Care to elaborate on what your email said, firearm you inquired about.. or are you just full of shit!

Let's let the two involved discuss this and keep the snide comments to ourselves.
