Guess im in the minority, but i had a pretty megative experience with Hardened Arms.

Bought a 16" 556 Melonite 1/9 upper with Scorpion rail. added NiB BCG and Gunfighter Mod 4 CH. The action was really rough and noisy. could tell that the melonite finish was not very smooth or even. I mean it was LOUD and scrape-y. I ran the same BCG and CH on a friend's identical upper that he bought at the same time with me, (though his had the quad rail) and no such issue.

Contacted customer service to see what could be done. I was told the owner said it was fine (he didnt bother talking to me), though this wasnt an issue in an identical upper. They said that it woild smooth out woth use, but if i put a bunch of rounds through it they wouldnt take it back if the problem didn't resolve itself through break-in. They did say they would take it back now if i paid shipping and 30% restocking fee. thats it. no other options; no replacement, nothing.

Wish i paid a bit more and went with a more established brand that standa behind their products.

Welcome to WaGuns Bobby. That really sucks about Hardened Arms! You are right, we don't hear much negative about them.

FYI the owner is a woman. Try calling and asking for CJ, and say you have a serious manufacturing problem.
