Shockwave Technology Raptor Grip Review. I was looking for a pistol grip for my Mossy 500 and came across the Raptor Grip by Shockwave Technology, I did some research and decided to give a try knowing from experience that normal pistol grip on a shotgun does put a toll on your hand specifically the webbing area. Purchasing process I visited the Shockwave Technology’s site It was comprehensive and informative, it give information and links to the legality of ATF and shotgun information. The purchasing process was user friendly and an ease to complete using Paypal, Also noted the winter 2012 promotion, hence this review. I placed the item on 12-9-2012 and received the item on 12-13-2012. Very fast shipping and handling time. Item Review Upon opening the package I noted the well-sealed heavy plastic the Raptor Grip contained in, the item was solid and came with the mounting bolt. After removing the factory stock the installing of the Raptor Grip was extremely simple, position the Raptor Grip in place and tightens the bolt simple! The installation process takes less than few minutes. The newly installed Raptor grip felt natural in my hand, solid and comfortable, took it to the range a week later and shot off some 2 ¾ 00 9 pellet buckshot, the recoil felt on the Raptor Grip is noticeable different from your traditional pistol grip, the position of the hand on the raptor tolerates the recoil much better than that of traditional grip. I’m glad to have come across this product and took a chance to try it for myself. Thank you Shockwave Technology

Interesting! I can see how it would help with recoil management too.
What's the overall length of the shotty now?

I guess I'll resurrect this thread to say that I got one of these for my Pardner Protector and it is easily a better platform to shoot from than the traditional pistol grips if you absolutely have to not use a regular stock.

No earth shattering big deal but here's my H&R NP1-P18 with that Raptor birdshead attached, very comfy compared to any other pistol-y grip:
