Went into Welcher's frequently back in the day when Colonel Welcher ran it as a one man operation. Looked like the boys basement that got cleaned every other year. His work was painfully slow, sometimes years. I put up with it because he always did the job right. More than 50 years ago. He used to give combat vets a nice discount on parts and accouterments.
