Had some spare time today.
Chart of many common firearm sizes vs the Sig P365. It's really close to the size of a G43, with 4 more rounds. I think you've got the capacity of the XDs wrong . . . should be 7 or 8, depending on the mag. Big J's in orting has a demo dummy version that has mags to put into it so you can tell how it feels. I didn't like the feel at first but with 12 round magazines it totally changed that.
