What is a better material? Nickel Boron, or Black Nitride? Yeah one is cheaper, but is it a better deal? Which one will preform better?

I’ve used plenty of both and the nitride wins as my preference hands down any day of the week. The nickel boron and nitride both make great surfaces for a moving part like the BCG but I think the nitride has a tad better lubricity and much easier to clean. The nickel boron starts out looking nice but it will discolor after it heats up, cools down, gets dirty then cleaned a few times. The nitride will retain that beautiful slick looking black finish much longer. When using billet upper receivers with tighter tolerances, I think the nitride performs better too. No scientific data to support my opinion but just my 2 cents.
