I have a similar sized Canon and it's serving me well.

Not digging the electronic lock either, but not sure there is really a better deal out there than this. Online it shows me $775. If you stop in store and get a coupon like Wilmer suggests, you could get it down to $750 like the OP states. With free delivery, thats tough to beat. Why does this have to happen right before the holidays?

Comments in the link provided says free delivery only to the curb.

That'd suck for me.

Costco contracts a private carrier for delivery.
He put mine in the garage where I told him to, doubt they will go much farther than that.
But he seemed to appreciate the tip so maybe they will bring it in the house with the proper encouragement.

I didn`t thnk I would like the electronic lock but I got a deal a couple months ago on a 65 gun safe for $799 and it has an electronic lock. I actually like it and you can replace the battery from outside and if something goes wrong there is a hidden key slot that unlocks it (if it is like miine) and now I am glad I got it because it is fast and easy to get into

I would be against any key backup system that could bypass a combination lock.

Have a key backup on a 'hotel safe' I use for temporary storage of confidential data and documents.
Disabled the 'hidden' key lock with glue and small lead shot.
If I ever lose the combination, I'll saw the safe open and replace it.

I tossed the truck driver a $20 and he placed it where I wanted it and helped get it off the pallet.

Saw one in person at the Lynnwood Costco on the way to the exit.

Looks nice. I like it even more than the Canon 80 I have.

The electronic lock is the way to go. Just like an automatic transmission on a pick up truck.
My electronic lock has never failed in 14 years.

72 Guns my Ass, maybe if 50 of them were pistols in boxes. Safe makers are very generous with their descriptions, they don't consider scopes and pretty much think we all have a Shitload of .22 pumps and pistols in boxes.
Realistically "Safe" is a relative term with that unit, it's a "Residential Security Container" at best with the body Gauge and only 6 Locking bolts. It's much better than nothing and the price is great, but it's no "Safe".
Having said that, it's Far superior than having your Collection unsecured. Camera's, Alarm systems, etc, won't suffice in a speedy "Hit and Run."
Anything that slows down the bad guy is a good thing. :thumbsup2:

I agree with the latter part of your statement.

Something that big and heavy, anchored to the ground isn't going anywhere.

If someone breaks in and has enough time to either rip this off it's anchors or grind it open, they had enough time to do it to a safe of higher quality.
