Did some price gouging along with a bunch of other companies (though nobody seems to remember the other companies and only CTD....) SAA is another that lives in infamy.

I opened this thread for the sole purpose of reading the "screw CTD" replies.
They did not disappoint.

I was tempted, that's a good price on Tula .308, but I can't support those clowns. Not only the 2013 gouging, but all their fake hysteria and stupid language in their product descriptions. "Great for a day at the range or during a zombie attack" sort of nonsense.

Thank you, Casey, for posting those screen shots.
Yes, other companies did some gouging too and I don't suggest that we forget it . . . but CTD gouged HARD, and they've done it twice in the short time that I've been a gun owner. They gouged right after Obama was elected in 2008, and they gouged right after Sandy Hook.
Fuck those guys.

I'm pretty passionate in my hatred of CTD and in encouraging others to join me in a boycott.
That said . . . I understand that it's a personal choice, and we all make different decisions about where to draw the line. There are a thousand different companies that sort of deserve to be boycotted, everyone from Costco (who doesn't want us to carry guns) to the Seahawks (whose owner is anti-gun), and many others in between. We all choose who to boycott, if any, depending on personal interests and passions.
So, I'm not trying to give anyone shit who chooses to buy from CTD. I won't buy from them again, and I encourage others not to, but if you choose to do it then that's okay. Everyone can make their own choice.
