Hadn't really thought about the logistics of this. I ordered 4000 rounds in 20 round boxes...
This is going to suck.

Thanks for the suggestions. I ended up heating it up with a hair dryer, scoring the part I needed with a razor blade, and then using the razor blade to get under it and sort of scrape it off.

The UPC is on the bottom of the box so had to empty them into the ammo can. Which makes taking the ammo to the range less convenient... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah, the 20-rd boxes suck, but they seem to be the cheapest cost/rd.

I'm a big fan of AR stripper clips, and an even bigger fan of the StripLULA. I would skip the spoons.

StripLULA is the only way to go! I've been buying 100-rd packs of stripper clips on eBay for $14.85 shipped. They're once-used, but clean and intact. If anyone knows of a better deal, let me know.

Spending $15 on stripper clips and another $30 on a loading device kinda makes the good deal on ammo not so good...
