Really tempted to buy this but... I'm out at sea, and it seems they only hold orders for 21 days. Anyone know when the last day of the sale is?

Only Union Gap store in WA has them in stock.
NEVER MIND, you can still order them regardless.

I ordered one online last night, got an email this morning that is was ready for pickup in Tulalip. I'm sure they have a fleet of trucks that move stuff between stores.

Would it be legal to buy one for a friend or relative in another state in their name? They would have to do the paperwork and would be the purchaser on the 4473...I think.
I have some relatives and friends I was thinking of buying this as a present for.

I would think (and I'm not a lawyer, so take this with a large grain of salt), that as long as you're not filling out the 4473, and they are, it's not a straw purchase, you've essentially given them a present with a cash value, they still have to jump through the ATF's hoops to get it.

Mine wont be in until the 26th. I ordered this morning at 0500 or so. Pretty lame. However I'm not in a hurry for the brick anyway. Hopefully sneak in on a Sunday or something. Swore off buying guns from Cabelas last year, pretty mad at myself for not sticking to my guns.

Ordered one a couple days ago for delivery to the Lacey store. Got an email the next day to come pick it up. It was in stock. I have been using an identical knife for years and wanted a backup. Now I have one with an inexpensive plinker. Haven't shot the gun yet. Going to dig out some ammo this weekend and see if it becomes a hidden shop gun or not.

Great truck gun. If somebody steals it, you won't care that much.
