This is a great deal if you're a Costco member. I just picked one up from my local Costco. The only bad thing about this deal is you have to pay sales tax on the pre-instant-rebate price ($800).

Just decide if you're going to break it in before you need it (per owner's manual: first 5 hours at 50% or less of the running watt rating).

I would do propane, because even if you run the gas tank dry there will still be gas in hoses/bowls/etc. Get ethanol free gas too for all small engines.
