In line with all the really good prices on AR-15's lately, here is another: https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/pro ... s_id/24396

Comes with some pretty nice furniture and BUIS. Plus it's a Savage and they seem to be pretty good in the CS department.

This is a gilded age we're living in boys.

1/8 5R rifled QPQ 223 Wylde barrel. That is kick ass for that price.

I hadn't even noticed that before you mentioned it, but yeah that's pretty nice!

Only thing I'm confused on is "does not have forward assist" quoted from Bud's site. But it has a forward assist housing. Just appears to not have the plunger but it does have ratchet cuts on the BCG. Anyone know what's up with that?

it has a plastic plug where the forward assist can be installed later, if the consumer so chooses. Kinda weird if you ask me, but it is a price point weapon.

Interesting. Where did you find that info?

Impressive review! I missed some of the finer points about all the qd cups, the sling loop in the stock, and the mild texturing on the handguard. These are some pretty impressive features. Hmmm. Might need to add another AR to the octuplet collection.

All the reviews I've seen on this rifle have been positive. I have a bunch of Savage bolt guns with great performance. I want this one, but I really like building my own... Decisions, decisions....
