 I feel like this is a time we're going to tell our children and children's children about. "Back in '17 we could buy those things for under $400 sonny"

And they'll be all icon_eek

No kidding. I keep telling myself I have enough, but yet there always ends up being room for just one more.

A month ago I had to start putting my cheaper long guns in gun cases because they wouldn't fit in my safe anymore. At all. Seriously, I played gun tetris for hours trying to figure it out. They just wouldn't all fit. Now I get a safe with double the capacity and the wife says the gun fund is cut off cuz of the baby on the way.

I'm nearing the point of marital revolt and these sub $400 AR's are NOT helping!

I've 4 boys of age to buy their 1st AR's. One of them bought his first from that last sub$400 rifle that Mr Sinus posted a few weeks ago. :cheers2: Thanks again sir. He's put a few hundred rounds through it already.
The other three were too slow on this one today.
We're trying to figure out a different and faster way for me or the wife to message them when one of you fine gentlemen share these good deals. I've suggested that they join WaGuns, but no dice so far. I've even promised that I'll pretend that I don't know them. *sigh*

The baby will eventually grow into an adult. That person is going to need a gun.
This argument (plea) works with my wife.

It's a boy! Maybe he needs his first AR while they're still available?

^ Very well! I hadn't even heard of DelTon before and was surprised by the reviews. Top notch. I'll see if I can talk him into setting up an account and writing up a review.

You know that we'd write a note for your wife explaining the circumstances if you need it. :-D

I'm leaving that up on the comp tonight when I go to bed so that's the first thing she'll see tomorrow when she hops on the comp to check her email before work. Subliminal message the hell out of her! :thumbsup2:

This is exactly why over the next 4 years I'm going to build at least 3 more quality ARs and buy 3 more Gen4 Glock 19s.

I got one kid on the way and plan on making a couple more.

I want to be sure that each of them has at least a capable rifle and pistol.

I've got a few stripped lowers for the same purpose. I can't really afford to buy a bunch more Glocks, but I have enough pistols I can give each kid a service pistol (Glock, XD, 1911)
