Not missing anything...guns are normally full nationwide retail.....his auctions are live online as well so the audience keeps prices up there on the guns and other high end items. anything resembling ammo or parts are normally well above full retail sometimes twice as much or more when the buyers premium and taxes are added.
Some decent deals can be had on most other items. Its strange how most are tied in to the internet but cant figure out 9mm is like $17 a box yet bid $25 plus fees.......couple guys bid up a lot of eisenhower dollars to over $500 (about 25 plus a few other smaller silver coins) actual value was propably under $100
Johny is probably the funniest, most entertaining auctioneer ive run into, he runs a great auction

Johny is probably the funniest, most entertaining auctioneer ive run into, he runs a great auction That’s what I’ve seen at MANY auctions, not just guns. About 30 years ago we tried to get into the storage/auctions gimmick, what an eye opener. People SUCK, bidding up and getting out before the hammer hits!!!

They actually think people do not know the real value of the items in the auction and try to jack up the price for profit. Sorry, I would not waste my time on that, I'll take my chances at a pawn shop first. Must easier to just walk away.

Jonny is a great dude to work with have been to about 8 of his auctions really funny guy with a good lookin wife, his whole crue are gun advocates that open carry during their auctions. He is there to make money for the seller that is his job and he will plant buyers he keeps a list of people looking for items and will have them there, will call in specialist for certain items and even does national sales. He does a good job running the auction and you can get good deals no doubt about it but worth it to be there in person to take a look before bidding. Buddy bought a 56 2 door chev through him for 1900$, watched him sell a 66 nova wagon I tried my best to get while being broke it went for 1700, a 67 302 4 speed mustang for 7,000. 68 289 auto coup mustang fully restored went for 7,500. Watched another guy snag a skid steer running and operating 3,000. Charismatic and likes to have a laugh but is serious about making money
