That's a possibility. Wrong direction for me. I don't know how they'd treat "vendors" even it's it's a small fry like me.

I see the WAC show is in Poo-yallup that weekend. I don't think I'm ready to become a gun show book seller. I've made fun of those dudes in the past icon_eek

Books came in. RENCORP, Isildur: I'll have 'em in the mail tomorrow.

I ordered some extras, let me know and I can sign & ship. $30 should be plenty for the cost of a book + shipping. If I can avoid doing in-person signings, that might be best for everyone and their schedules.

Re: doing a book store signing event, the book is too gritty for a Christian book store IMO. I'm open to suggestions. Unfortunately I'll be overseas by the time the Spokane-area Preparedness Expo comes around in September. Maybe I can wrangle a friend into pretending to be the author?

As for the rally, if I can swing the trip (I need to be back in NE WA by 8pm or so) I'll come down. Sure wish it started earlier!

After getting better shipping info, it's $32 a signed copy. I'm not doing a parking lot event this coming Saturday; seems most people are heading to the rally. I'll be back in May and June.

I was on a business trip a couple of weeks ago, with lots of airport/airplane time -- so I finally did it!

Well, I'm not Christian . . . and to be honest, the "churchy" stuff (Pablo's word!) got a bit tiresome to me, and it's not just in the first chapter. I didn't care for that aspect of the book.

With that said, I enjoyed the book as a whole. I appreciated the plot, because as I get older I realize that such a thing is NOT outside the realm of possibility. Its local setting (for the most part) and the fact that it was written by a WaGunner made it all the better! :thumbsup2:

Awesome! Thanks for reading it and your honest thoughts. Every book has an audience. Sure, there are some classics that have a really broad audience, but it's never 100%. Back when Harry Potter and Twilight were tearing things up in the book sales world, people assumed I read them because I'm a reader. No interest. I'm not the audience, and the movies I watched proved that.

But you proved a point, that if you're at least two parts of the three target audiences (conservative Christian men), you'll probably like it.

I downloaded it last March, but I still haven't read it. Still trying to catch up on "Life After War".

As it seems everyone back home is shut in with little to do, I opted to make the Kindle version of the book free for the maximum 5 days. From today (March 19) through the 23rd, it's 100% free to buy and read right then or later, if you choose.

Though, it might be a little on the nose with current events, being that it's a pandemic scare followed by a worldwide financial collapse. Enjoy!

Wow. Thanks!

Can you read it for to me? Do you have an Audible version?

Added to my Kindle.

All the paperbacks are through Amazon. I don't have a way to send signed copies right now, sorry.

Cornfuzed. Is book 2 out?

Short review: Beginning not for everyone, I liked it. Mid is a great read, hanging at the end OK could have been more meat the last 50 pages or so. Good read.
