Short review: Beginning not for everyone, I liked it. Mid is a great read, hanging at the end OK could have been more meat the last 50 pages or so. Good read. Nope, looking at October of this year for Book 2.

Thanks guys! About 250 downloads during the free period. Hope those of you who got a copy enjoy it. As always, I appreciate positive Amazon reviews which a couple of you have already given.

It's spooky how much the news is paralleling what I wrote 4 years ago (it was done in 2016, I just waited to publish when Trump won).
The guy who didn't have a gun b/c his wife made him sell it years ago, now wants that security and can't go buy one. Seeing this pop up in a lot of places. People who can't get home. Etc.
I'm 7,000 miles from home right now, but at least I can talk with my family and know they're okay.

The book will again be a free download on Kindle through Sunday night. For those with the Kindle version already, but haven't read it yet, I went through and made a number of minor edits so make sure to update your copy before reading. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q7TNLTCThis promo is in advance of the second book in the series coming out late next month.

Some news about my first book:
Yesterday, I signed an agreement to do a much more professional second edition that will be generally available vs. just on Amazon. I'm not updating or changing anything due to current events or COVID.
And, probably more interesting for the WaGuns crowd, there will finally be an AUDIOBOOK.
This is all sort of a proof-of-concept that, should it go well, I will include the other two books as well. If it's a frustrating mess, well...you figure it out.
Timeline I'm aimed at is late summer for both.
