Had about 1/2" on the ground when I woke up. Nothing new since then. Only on grass and cars, roads were wet and bare.

Less than an inch in N Lynnwood on the cars, lawns, and roof, more like sleet. Hard ice on the truck windshield, rubber scraper didn't have much luck getting it off. But at least the windows weren't frozen shut.

Personal weapons are what raised mankind out of the mud, and the rifle is the queen of personal weapons. The possession of a good rifle, as well as the skill to use it well, truly makes a man the monarch of all he surveys. It realizes the ancient dream of the Jovian thunderbolt, and as such it is the embodiment of personal power. For this reason it exercises a curious influence over the minds of most men, and in its best examples it constitutes an object of affection unmatched by any other inanimate object.

6" of snow this morning. Some melted and it's starting to snow again now. Luckily once we go about 5 miles west towards Everett we're ok. Otherwise, lost power this morning at around 3am and got it back at 3pm. Good thing we have a generator.

It snowed a bit in Olympia, but nothing to get excited about. But, we drive Jeeps and a 4WD Ford, so it really takes a bunch to get me excited. Bare and wet just doesn't qualify.
