Hopefully you'll be faster and lighter with all that stuff gone.
If there's anything we can do to help post it up. I've got a pretty flexible schedule.

Many thanks from Madpick for splitting this into it's own thread. More thanks from the well wishers here. I think we've got it covered here at home. I need sleep, a little walking around and plenty of water at the moment.
Details? I suppose you want some.
Surgery - 2/8 Ten hours on the slab. Hooked up with more tubes and wires than a 2018 GT 500. I did not eat from Tuesday until this Wed. Then it was free form shark feeding.
What they did: took out my bladder, prostate and added an exhaust port to the side of my stomach. This was done to cut out the cancer. I now pee into the bag.
Recover is slow. I'm not kidding.
On top of that I have to give MYSELF a daily shot in the stomach. For being such a little needle, it sure smarts.
In the beginning I was ah... nervous. Now, just worried.
There's more, I'm just not remembering all at the moment.

Speedy recovery. I also speak from surgery experiences (heart), take people up on their offers. Folks want to help and give back, and it is easy to feel like you are burdening someone. Even if you just want a change of pace in company and have someone swing by for a little bit to shoot the breeze it really helps. Maybe not right away, but give it a week or so, it might be good, I know it helped me.
One bright side is you're probably not going to have to get up in the middle of the night to piss a few times. And you'd be ideal for long road trips. But I'm sure you'd rather have to deal with all that instead. Best of luck to you.

Heal up rick. I have some friends who live with the bag, it doesn’t take too long to get used too. Besides, it’s better than the alternative!
Let us know what you need!

Small needle?
Insulin?
Do you use a pen, or the old fashioned thing?

Heck yes. Glad you are back, but you seem pretty mild-mannered so far... When are you going to be back to pissing in other people's Wheaties every morning?
