Good News: Got the new air compressor pump I ordered over the weekend. On sale for $350, I don't know that I could rebuild the old one for that price

Bad News: They sent me a pump for a gas powered model. For some reason they use the same part number for both electric and gas model pumps. They're all the same parts but the head is reversed

So the hole that should suck blows, and the hole that should blow sucks

Lil' stompah took a fall today. Minor fracture. Poor little dude.

Good news: Finally got around to de-stemming and crushing up the red peppers I had grown and dehydrated this summer (yeah, I'm slow).

Bad news: As I was crushing them up I noticed that the static electricity in the air - or on the surface of the plastic container into which I was putting the crushed pepper? - was causing the pepper powder to go airborne. This I discovered when I watched a couple of whole seeds go flying past my face, but luckily nothing went into my eyes. Once finished, I washed up and sat down to see what WaGuns was up to and had browsed a couple of posts when I noticed a rapidly blooming and very intense BURN erupting under my left TESTICLE!!!

"Odd", I reflected, "my pants are still on and I hadn't touched 'myself' since performing the pepper task"... but the burn was becoming so insistent I hadn't the focus to investigate how pepper had been introduced to my nethers. I jumped into the shower and was in further agony as the HOT water coursed over my inflamed parts Application, and repeated rinsing of soap finally brought the heat down to a pleasant 'glow' which comforts me still.

Investigation of the jeans I was wearing shows traces of pepper flakes that had sifted down most probably from where my shirt was tucked in.

Let this be a cautionary tale for your - and my - future reference.

Good news: I’m glad I decided to stay home today while it was storming instead of going grocery shopping in Olympia, we wouldn’t have gotten back until we’ll after dark, since it was 1 o’clock when we decided to go.

Bad news: Tree came down on my SIL’s 20’ enclosed car trailer. If it was a healthy tree it would have crushed it but it was a diseased/rotted one that I tagged to remove this spring. Didn’t realize how bad it was and wasn’t really worried about it much.
It broke off at about 15’ high so the top portion only landed horizontally onto the roof putting three damage areas in the thin sheet metal roof.

Neighbor tried alerting me by text then calling but phone was on vibrate in the other room and I was in the crapper when it happened. He did help me and the Mrs. tarp it up after I moved it away from the trees.









To ad insult to injury the GD wind also attacked my cedar fence AGAIN!!!

Damn...Sorry Jim, hopefully the trailer isn't too damaged. That Fence looks old brother, is it time for a Waguns fence building party in the spring?
