Ok we're looking for ideas for our new stand,we want something no one else has for a speciality item. The stand we are consulting with does waffles on a stick, they are very successful with them,we can do them if we want too,but want our own thing, there's another stand down the road from us that does biscuits and gravy,we won't copy them as they're too close. We are getting close, hope to be done and open end of February. We will have muffin tops,pumpkin/banana bread and some other items like most do. We will also have johnsons smoke house trail mix packs, those are very good. We want something that people want and is easy to eat on the go,we will have breakfast sandwiches also. Give me some ideas and we'll try to get it on our menu. This stand will be very nice, not a bikini coffee stand,it's located just as you leave Rochester heading west on highway 12.

Fresh juices. Carrot, Apple, grape is a killer combo. It's refreshing and you can get at least half the fruit and veggies you are supposed to get all at once. Bulk carrots are really cheap and it takes fhe same time as making a coffee.

I was about to buy a coffee stand, and I was going to go with a 2nd A theme. All offerings would have a gun/2nd A theme. Discount for military, and LEO's. Camo cups. Just a thought.

Hot breakfast sandwiches are a winner for me.
For the bread, I like English muffins but I’m also a big fan of the McGriddles, the McDonalds breakfast sandwich that uses little pancakes. I don’t really like croissants because they’re messy/crumbly and they are also greasy.

summer time: chocolate covered (with almond crumbles) frozen bananas on a stick. I would like to second the motion that breakfast sammies would be good sellers. Something you could eat with the hand that's not holding the cell fone while you drive Bacon and/or ham (okay, with an egg accent) goes really well with coffee.

I've had friends that owned coffee stands. One thing was to start slow. If you try to open and please everyone, you'll have a lot of leftover product, and mess up your margins. Part of loyalty can come from you getting something in a customer requests. 2 things that come to mind for me, even after saying what my friend said ; 1 would be to have a few items that are sealed & travel well. Where someone can throw them in a briefcase, purse, backpack, and eat later at work. Starbucks, back when I used to go there, always thought it was weird when I requested a sandwich from the back, still sealed in a pack. The second thing you may wish to consider, is something that fits in with the Paleo/Keto/Anti-Inflammation/low carb diet crowd. It's no longer just a trend, it's a pretty big niche these days. If it's tasty, more folks will eat it. Lastly, if you're going after an online presence, maybe have a sign up while folks wait.....driving them to your FB/Twitter/Instagram or website, where they "like" you, and offer up a menu item suggestion. If it's tried on the menu, free coffee once a week for a month.....or something like that..... Just rambling thoughts.....looks like I need more coffee.......

I agree with the breakfast sammiches but what about later in the day? if you have room for a warmer you could do BBQ sliders maybe offer them in singles, 3 pack and the 6 pack. offer 2 varities a pulled pork and a pulled beef. You could get the guy going to work with coffee and a sammich and the guy after work with a latte and a snack to tide him over until dinner. both are easy recipes and if you had a smoker running the smell would draw them in also.

Run n gun coffee : Get loaded for your day.
lol
MRC nailed it with fruit juices, I'd push that into smoothies as well.
Drink sizes could be calibers...
.22, 9mm, .45, and 10mm...
Drinks could be well known terms, gun people, or brands? (Dunno legality on that)
Rounds would be, well, extra shots of espresso..
'I'd like a John Wayne, .45, 3 rounds'

'I'd like a John Wayne, .45, 3 rounds' I like that idea, but I don't think I'd get that to fly though. I'll look into the fruit juice idea,I think it sounds pretty good.
