Well, by now most of you have probably seen the news story. Per CNN:



Well, apparently his choice of language has a whole lot of people up in arms . . . .

I happened to spend about five minutes in front of a TV at mid-day today, and here's what I saw:



The dude on the screen used the term "shithole" about a dozen times, and he also used terms like gook, spic, slant-eye and a few others He was throwing out racist terms, I think making the point that people used to talk like that but we've progressed, and now Trump is pulling us backwards.

The more I thought about this, the more pissed off I got. First, I'll concede that Trump shouldn't have used that phrase, and he's a fucking moron for not learning to filter himself better, just speaking generally. However, that's not what has me pissed. There are two things bothering me:

1) We all say shit that we shouldn't, and we need to trust those that we're with not to betray us. If Trump said that "behind closed doors" in a meeting, then whoever the fucker was that came out and leaked that to the press needs to have his or her ass kicked. It's totally uncool. If it were up to me, that person would NEVER set foot inside the White House again.

2) We know that CNN hates Trump. That's pretty clear. But today, I think they took it to a new high, with their willingness to display the term "shithole" on the screen for so long, and to let that dude spew all of those hateful terms along with "shithole" over and over. I really don't think they'd allow that in normal times, but I guess it's all good if they're able to take a shot at Trump.

If those countries are not the adjective as described, then why are their people trying to come here?

I have said it many times, Mexico is a Shithole, many countries are shitholes and those countries have no one to blame but themselves.

Steve, we are living in strange times were the media is the King and we are the Serfs. Something is eventually gonna break and it is not gonna be pretty.

I had friends at Harborview that volunteered to go give medical aid to Haiti after their multiple earthquakes in 2010 (7.0, 5.9, & 5.5).

They flew into the Dominican Republic. They said the DR was great, and Haiti was awfule. Part of what made Haiti awful was that it was awful BEFORE the quake. No societal structure to anything.

Going back to the DR, it was made sure that no Haitians were coming in.

Same island, but they didn't want Haitians either.

90% of the Dominican Republics military resources are used to keep the Haitians on their side of the island.

It is also possible that Trump is setting someone up for leaking. They will eventually be caught. By the way, calling them shitholes is nothing more than truth in advertising.

Rules dont apply to snowflakes.

They can break shit, steal shit, say anything they want and still blame Trump for their actions.

I won't speak for others, but some of the things he says, I said some, I agree with.
He just has bigger balls then me to say it to millions of people, about what I think of shit hole countries.

It was said behind closed doors, who cares. I'm sure king obomba never said anything bad towards other countries either....

I agree with Steve's points.

I also agree with Trump on the terminology, and intended meaning. But hell, you have to stop the leaks. I'm sure presidents have said much worse "in confidence" in a closed door meeting. From the way CNN was going at this, I thought he Tweeted it.

CNN was playing the race card hard tonight - what shit hole country doesn't have black or brown skinned people? I hadn't really thought about it until CNN said this on the air! What a stinking pile CNN has become - sheesh.
