The Punisher - Only Mildly Spoilerish

Finished this up last night.
Not spoilers: I thought for a Punisher story, it was much to wordy. Because, well... Punisher is the damn Punisher. SEE BAD MAN, DELETE BAD MAN. That said, I thought it was a solidly built show with a decent arc that had a bit of Punisher in it. Even the political gun stuff was... Surprising in the way it leaned, and most of the gun play was pretty good. Short of the typical hollywood "Regenerating Healthbars" idea to getting shot. I am overall happy with it. Thoughts? Haven't yet watched it but may soon.
I like the Punisher - among the few super heros I like b/c he ends bad guys with a fury. Bernthal is hit and miss as an actor and limited range IMO. I have to say the Netflix Marvel series as a whole have been good. If anything else entertainment and action. I think it's cool how some of the characters show up in the different series.
I just started watching the Punisher and it is good so far. |

Watched most of the first episode (fell asleep towards the end). I like it so far. Im glad its sort of a new story instead of a "how he became the punisher" story. We will see if I still like it after a few more episodes though
