With how there is a "Truth in Advertising" law, I'd like to see a "Truth if Firearms" law.
In all Movies and TV Shows, firearms need to be accurately portrayed. No infinite magazines, no silent suppressors, no "blowing people back 15 feet with a single shot", everybody doesn't get a fully automatic firearm. When somebody shoots a gun indoors, everybody needs to be deaf. That buying a firearm from a store requires a background check and in some states a waiting period.
Right now firearms are portrayed in such a terrible fashion that people are afraid of them and their infinite power. People think that "Assault Rifles" are scary black things. That anybody with a simple firearm shoots 1000 rounds per minute with infinitive capacity. This is slander and libel. We need to change perception. The way most people learn about firearms is via movies and TV shows. Let's start with correcting their perception by ensuring firearms are accurately represented in TV shows and Movies.

More rules: Guns don't go off when dropped. Can't use actors that are anti-gun. Bullets go through couches, cars, and other soft things.

I like the actors one. I've heard about War Profiteers. How about Gun Profiteers? I'm talking about actors that make millions profiting off the misrepresentation of firearms. That are anti-gun, but make a living off guns. They either need to stop making gun movies, or give up all their millions to non-profit organizations that deal with training people on safe firearm handling and usage.

Guns aren't supposed to go off when dropped but occasionally they do.
I was talking in general. It's just that in the movies (True lies the mg that fires on every step) they almost always go off.
