Well, I walked away without having to shoot someone, and he didn't get shot, so I'd say that particular situation worked out for everyone involved.
Back to my original point, though. Indeed, the high road is the
only road we can take. If we don't, the media and general public will jump all over us. Unfortunately, they probably still will jump all over us, but the less fodder we give them, the better.
