This way all the turd spending deals that are tacked onto essential legislation can be trimmed off just like the little balls of shit that accumulate around a hairy dog's rectum. Many State Governors have this power to keep laws from having issues tacked on that have no bearing on the legislation they got stuck on. I see some good and some bad in the preliminary reports on the plan. Would hate to see some of the deductions go away and am happy to see that they are cutting Corporate taxes. One dollar out of every three in profit was getting sucked off for Government spending rather than returned to shareholders like it used to be 30 years or more ago. More dividends paid to shareholders, the easier it is for a company to sell stock. The more stock they can sell the easier it is to build bigger factories and employ more people. That alone has driven more companies offshore than the cheap-ass labor. The taxes.

I'd like to see every deduction go away, and the tax rate lowered. No special exceptions for anybody.

As a Service-providing S-Corp, it sounds like I'm going to get royally screwed. Be prepared for a mass gun sell-off in April from me...

I would suggest that before some of you get too excited and come in your pants over this, that you actually read the plan.
Its just more poor, hastily thrown together bullshit. Trying too hard to get SOMETHING passed. What a bunch of fucking idiots.

And get rid of MOST welfare except dire emergency life saving welfare. Big mistakes to encourage lazy ignorant ***** to breed and live off the government with tax incentives. Nobody is paying my student loans but me. Yet I have to subsidize others bad decisions with their too many kids and poor life skills? No thanks. And cut all NFL and pro sports tax breaks too, and look hard at all corporate welfare and make DEEP cuts keeping only incentives to employ people full time.

I am also looking forward to a return to the days that the .Gov follows http://www.independent.org/publications ... sp?id=1329Quote: It should have surprised no one, therefore, when Cleveland vetoed the Texas Seed Bill early in 1887. This legislation appropriated $10,000—a trifling sum even in those days—to allow the Commissioner of Agriculture to purchase seed grain for distribution to farmers in certain counties of Texas that had suffered from drought.4 The president’s veto message read in part as follows:
I can find no warrant for such an appropriation in the Constitution; and I do not believe that the power and duty of the General Government ought to be extended to the relief of individual suffering which is in no manner properly related to the public service or benefit. A prevalent tendency to disregard the limited mission of this power and duty should, I think, be steadily resisted, to the end that the lesson should be constantly enforced that, though the people support the Government, the Government should not support the people.5 There should be no tax breaks for religious organizations either- that would eliminate a prohibition on churches "picking sides."

The problem was just before the next election the democrats ran it up to the Supreme Court and it was ruled unconstitutional.... That said, Inslee has it
