Passport is cheaper, and accepted worldwide.
Also it is BS that we are a sanctuary state whose license is not accepted in the first place. Washington State Driver's license haven't been accepted since last year for military bases.
California is a sanctuary state but they at least mark the driver's license that didn't provide proof of citizenship. |

Because when we get our first license or ID, we are not required to prove who we are. EDL you have to bring in all sorts of proof.

When they brought this up several months ago, news reports said that 'the state will do what it needs to to make them compliant'.... clocks running out on it now.... odds are going down fast.

When I previously traveled to Canada I just used my drivers license, to Mexico I used my Birth Certificate. A couple years ago I went and got my Passport, as I realized I was trapped in the country and couldn't leave. With our state refusing to fix our Drivers License's, I'm glad I have it.
