Well seeing as NON sports lovers are scolded or mocked for posting in the vaunted "NFL trash talk thread" I'll start a specific thread for the NON sports lovers...So the sports "lovers" have no reason to post here.

I'll start with this...https://townhall.com/tipsheet/timothyme ... a-n2392266

Then there's this...http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300000 ... -wont-play

And this...https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/white- ... st-n808866

Yup. The team owners are starting to fight back against the whiny prima donna rabble rousers.

I also find it funny that Kaepernick is still hoping to get signed.
That ship sailed a long time ago.

Yeah... nice to see Budweiser seeking input from fans on the Anthem issue. :patriot:

So. The sports haters created a safe space so they could talk about how much they hate sports?

It’s called Facebook.

I don’t see this thread lasting long.

I love this idea. Keep the sports threads clear of all the haters who just go in there and have a case of diarrhea at the mouth.

Go Hawks.

"Safe Space"? Yeah I don't see it lasting either...with that kind of bias.

No Dan...It's a place where people who disagree with the positions that some players and teams take regarding our flag, the anthem and whatever else they don't like can post those disagreements.

Seeing as you guys tend to censor any negative feedback about the anthem issues and how teams, fans and owners handle it.

You're the god here...don't like it? Lock the thread and terminate my membership.

A lot of you like sports and what they represent...others not so much. Are our positions less valid? Or just not in lockstep with the powers that be...

First thing I thought of seeing this thread is the Dave Chapelle Playa Hater's Ball skit :ROFLMAO:

Seriously though, fuck the NFL. Bunch of spoiled, petulant, debutantes. I don't think any reasonable person would say there's not a problem with racism in the US but these hooha's are going about things absolutely the wrong way by generally disrespecting their fans, the flag, the anthem, every veteran past and present, and our country in general.

The team owners are a bunch of pansies for tolerating this behavior on their work premises. Behavior which is absolutely detrimental to their own business models. Last time I checked employees have a fiduciary duty to act in the best interest of their employers. Something apparently totally lost on the players and apparently also on those theoretically looking after the best business interests of the NFL.

The players doing the kneeling should put their money where their mouth is and actually use some of their obscenely, overpaid salaries to improve the life of those in their own communities or on political action *outside of work* if that's their belief. That approach might actually garner some respect for a change.

General Sports trash talk right?

It didn't stop others from posting in the other thread.

If any thread is a safe place its the NFL trash talking thread. I mean talk trash about another's person's team, ok. Trash the sport, not ok?

The story about Kap promising to stand turns out to be a bit of a stretch. Fake news?

https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2017/ ... uarterback

How were the ratings for last nights game? Has this boycott had any REAL effect?
