I know a 5 pound dog that ate two pounds of chocolate and never skipped a beat.

I have always intentionally fed my dogs roasted garlic cloves. It keeps them flea and tick free.

They have always vastly enjoyed pizza, guacamole, grapes, and other foods, in my company.

Never had a problem with any of these things.

And people can live 100 years who smoke, or survive being shot, stabbed, bad car accidents or falls. Still not advisable. Why risk it?

And one person out of several tens of thousands, or more, get hurt on ferris wheels, why do we continue to have ferris wheels?

For that matter, you argue against your own premise. Why do we still have cars if people die in car accidents?

99,999 out of 100,000 dogs can eat their own weight in chocolate, and never have any ill effect. So no dog should ever have the delight of eating chocolate because one dog does die?

It can be hard to find a good vet.


Our beagle was acting the same a couple years ago. Vet told us sometimes they can get the after effects of a seizure without "actually" having one.

happened a few times after we started using a new toilet bowl cleaner. We try to keep the bathroom doors closed but she must have got into one.

She was completely back to normal a few days after we stopped using it. Stuff was supposed to be non toxic.

Bong is so 10 years ago. My "friend" says the new fangled hemp wraps are the cool thing now

I spoke with five different vets on Friday, showed them the video, the issue journal I have kept and three of them think it might be Exercise Induced Myopathy, while the other two think he is a mild Epileptic. Tomorrow he has an appointment for full blood work and a tissue sample.

A guy at work was feeding grapes to another worker's terrier at the job site, and the dog died. Good luck feeding your dog grapes.

Two things I will suggest. Dr David Powell a animal chiropractor messsage me if you want his number and an MRI. I feel it maybe a neurological problem and MRI is the only way to check.

Thanks for the recommendation, but I have already seen a Neurologist for him. They are prescribing him with some mild anti seizure meds today, so hopefully that helps.

Nobody can figure out why his episodes are so intermittent, usually Neurological issues like this are full time not once every 10 days or so.

We had a dog that was similar. She had hip problems and after coming back inside after taking a poop she would run around our coffee table as fast as she could then would stop and sort of sit there for a couple of seconds and then just lay down on her side. Because of her hip problems the wife started messaging her hips and rotating her back legs and it seamed to stop. Does your dogs events happen after he has gone to the bathroom? or any other thing he does before these events happen? I am thinking it may be nerve related although I am not a vet. Hope he get better soon.

Nothing out of the ordinary whatsoever, that's what is puzzling all the vets, and Neurologists he has seen. If anyone we to see him between his episodes every 7-10 days, they would think he is a completely normal 16 week out moose. He eats like a horse, has tons of energy, normal bowel movements, and looks like a baby deer running due to his super long legs he has not yet grown into.

I went down yesterday to the vet and he is now 22lbs, so he's gained 3lbs in just over 2 weeks. I spoke with the lady at the shelter where he came from and they reached out to all the other homes that adopted puppies from this litter and none of them are showing signs of what he has.
