If you're using chrome for your browsing this extension will allow you to see images hosted on photobucket:

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/photobucket-embed-fix/naolkcpnnlofnnghnmfegnfnflicjjgj/related?hl=en

I added it and it seems to be working well.

Does this mean that it will allow you to see Photobucket images that aren't supposed to be viewable? All of those "you didn't pay us $400 so we're not allowing third-party hosting" pictures?

Correct,

Images posted on forums have been showing for me since I installed the extension, for the most part.

I'm still seeing the photobucket warning image in a few places but not as much.

Interesting. I wonder how the douchebags at Photobucket feel about that, and if they'll change the coding to prevent it from happening.

Possibly. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before they figure out how to defeat the chrome extension.

I deleted my account last month. Haven't looked into any other services but when I need to post pictures I use Tapatalk on my phone.

I just got tired of seeing the middle finger from photosuckit on every forum I visit. Feels good to stick it to them for a little bit.

Slightly off topic, but has anyone found a way to harvest their photos from Photobucket? I'd hope there was an easier way to do it than one at a time, but I get errors every time I try to download an album (even if it's only one picture in the album).

Steve was having a similar problem, but got it worked out. viewtopic.php?f=33&t=82582&start=30#p808672
